I detached the hose from a DC07 yesterday and out of the bottom fell a stainless steel whisk!
Bit different from the usual coins, pens etc.
Any other strange ones?

;D you caught my attention with this one, thought it was going to be some thing from Ann Summers vacuumed from under a bed. :chuckle:

about 2 years ago i sold a dc14 to some one who asked me to deliver about 1 mile away so i did .
when i demonsrated the dyson she said she had a vax upright .i asked the problem trying to help as she was about 70 she said no suction on the pipe so i said let me look sussed out it had a blockage in the pipe i pushed a brush handle throught a thong from her gran daughter i went red the old lady just picked it up and said oh dear me
i left very red

Well I will give you a hint to the most interesting thing I found in a dyson, It was in a dc23 , It was ink, vibrated and said rampant Rabbit on it. :evilgrin0002:
The lady turned an interesting shade of red when I handed it back to her. I put it in a brown paper bag and told her to only look what it was when she was at home but she didn't listen :evilgrin0002:

£3 Dyson Dc07 All floors from the carboot sale, crap suction. Off to refurb it and when I took the U- bend off, there was a key ring with a good handful of double glazing door keys!

Plastic spoon, hair bobble, fluff and crap :grinn:
-
A used condom, euch the mind boggles :o. People wonder why I wear gloves when repairing appliances.
-
:sick0012:
probably left under the bed.

Eww thats a nasty one!

Yep, it's a bit gross :( but after doing electrical & security contracting in domestic properties, it's not something I haven't seen before :grinn:

Went to collect Dc14 a few months back. When I got to the house Their was allot of renovation going on. As the owner gave me the unit ( still under it warranty This model sold for a long time in SA ) I cautioned her that they should not use it to suck up any of the building material as this could void the guarantee( this happens allot in SA. Builders are famous for using your vacuum for cleaning up after themselves . She said to me rather sternly that in no way has this vacuum ever been used for vacuuming up any of the mess created by the renovations ( to her rather fancy estate home )
I had a hunch so I took off the back hose and out poured ( infront of her ) 4 X8mm coach screws and what seamed like a never ending supply of industrial staples and nails. AAAH theirs your problem mam I said . She was gobsmacked

Hmm: No it's never been used for clearing up builders mess :'( must have been the tooth fairy put it there ::) :grinn:

I love doing that with plaster dust, just an innocent 'Had any DIY work done recently' when I hand it back after a refurb... "Oh yes, we did have the front room done 7 months ago". There's your issue then love
-
Yep, but it's never they're fault though.
