Am I dreaming or were the buttons for the hoses available as spare?

I think you were dreaming. ;)

OK maybe they were for a wand or something, I'm sure I've seen them. :grinn: :whist11:
-
I knew I had seen them
[attachimg=1]
Listed as "TOOL CATCH"

Doesn't say anything about the spring though :angryman:
-
Ahh, miscommunication/misunderstanding. I assumed for some reason you meant the 04/07 type.
Yes, that one fits loads from the DC25/33 to various hand helds, cylinders etc. (but not all that look like it are it)
The spring is indeed a different part.
-
I have asked Q if they have spring, cant find it on web. Looks like the spring is included in USA :D
Don't suppose you know if the spring off any other part will fit?
-
Spring is the same as loads of other applications, but I am away from home and cannot look it up for a few days.
-
Understand just thought you might know off the top of your head, enjoy yourself.

Confusing email from Q today!
"Good morning
The tool catch never came with the spring but unfortunately neither of these parts are available anymore
Kind regards"
Strange as I've just ordered some from them :D or do they just mean the spring :boggleeye: :grinn:

Got round to fitting the tool catches to a dc25 and dc27 hose today, used the spring from dc04 bin catch, it dose work but its not 100% perfect, spring needs to be slightly shorter and preferably with wider spaced coils.
-
The spring is 919900-39 I think. They have in stock also the spring they say they don't. :boggleeye:

That is soooo annoying :censored: Will have to order some next time :'( One thing about the Q site I find irrigating is there is no explanation of what the part is for, this could save a lot of guess work ;D
