Title: Too much suction from no suction cure.
Post by: kenny444 on October 28, 2014, 11:13:08 am
I have a DC07 which was not new to me, it has been really bad at picking up. So I set about working through everything I could to remove any air leaks and/or blockages. I watched all the Youtube videos but nothing worked. But it is going now and lifts the carpet if you slow down or stop. ****The answer was to swap the root cyclone****. Ours was dirty and although cleaned and washed it did not improve, all I can suggest is this, if you have a sucker and a non-sucker swap the cyclones over and see if the suction comes with it. The problem I suspect was a build up of debris in the area that I could not seewithin the cyclone! Hope this is of use. Kenny444
