Title: Dyson DC44 Animal battery
Post by: Parwaz7862 on January 17, 2017, 07:00:25 pm
So I believe the runtime is 20 mins (on normal mode) and 17 mins with a motorised head and then 8 mins on max.

Mine? It got a runtime of about 12 mins on normal mode and 5 secs on max!

Now, mine is the later model because the battery is held in by 2 screws rather than a button

Do you reckon it needs a new battery or motor unit? It has no safety switch for the filter BTW

Thanks ;)

Battery

Yep. They are not much cop.

However, check both outputs on the charger first.

Cheers both
The charger seems to work just like my DC30/34/35 ones I had in the past and the light goes off after a few hours so I presume (going by that) it works flawlessly

Will try a new battery tho thanks

That's a point, make sure both outputs are working from charger.

Dont assume, test both outputs. If one is down it won't charge fully.
