Hi all. I will hopefully be getting a DC19 from one of my friends soon. It's a blue model. They say it started smoking so that's the usual motor problem. I will try and post pics here when I get it but don't hold me to that as I need to find out how to do them first! ;)

Nice one! My neighbour has had a DC19 for around 10 years, they still have it and it's the blue one like yours ;) When I saw her husband using it to clean their car, the filter sounded slightly blocked tho

Argh, I get you.
The person over the road from me owns a DC07 Origin, Always sounds as though filter needs a good ol washin
But we dont even talk to them, after their attitude. When we had our driveway done, they came over and said to the builder thingy man, "Bout bloody time they had that done!"
Once I was sat in mums car, and she accidentally locked it, so of course the lights flashed, 2 seconds later "DONT LET YOUR SON IN THAT CAR ALONE, ALL IT TAKES IS A VERY SIMPLE PUSH OF THAT LEVER AND ITS IN THE BACK OF MY CAR THAT IM NEVER REPLACING!"
2 Weeks later the car gets replaced...

Cool, Want to get a DC19 at somepoint, never had anything blue to do with Dyson

I have certain stereotypes with certain Dyson owners. I once thought DC27 owners were moody AF cos I knew a few people with DC27s and had a certain attitude! This isn't true though obviously :))
I once thought DC04 silver/lime owners have teenagers in the house cos they were really popular and there's loads of teens and there always were where I live :))
Lastly, I also thought DC14. DC19 and DC33 owners were intelligent because all DC14, DC19 and DC33 owners I know are clever, fit & thin women :| :| :|

BTW we should be a bit more careful about our posts BTW, after all, this kinda stuff,(Random) should be in the Random Chit Chat topic, Where we went off topic last time then MVAcs set me up as the leader of Random Chit Chat, Mabey we should wake that up? I mean after all all the OP's dont want us starting random chat on their thread TBH, And MVacs will probaly get fed up of sorting us out every single day lol.

The only neighbours I have are my grandparents and Billy. He's got that nice DC14 all floors I had in. I have ordered the motor and post filter for the DC19 as I'm hopefully getting it today. I'll attempt to upload pics

I once had a DC19T2 a few months ago, very good machine, they made the right choice continuing to make them!
