Good videos, the only minor criticism I have personally is that they are too long. Roger Corman would be chopping down to the bare bones!

The "sensor" as they call it. Is that just a clutch of somesort?

How are the bearings on the motor?

Hey,

I take your criticism on board, although I always get told my video's are too short haha. Maybe Vacuum people don't like longer video's I don't know...  :grinn:
Plus, I personally don't like the video's that are cut up and short, I tend to skip those and watch the longer ones lol.

I don't think that sensor is a clutch, it seems to work in a way that, if the brush gets resistance it pulls on the spring and the board must sense the resistance some how and turns the "Check Brush light" on....

The motor bearings appear fine to me, it's got around 10 hours on it max too...

Well, I've been at it again trying to work out what the problem is...  And it ended up the same way as the others...

Check this video out>>>

I have ordered a new belt that I hope will be here next week, so let's see what that does...

Haha, Luckily for this G1 I don't get stressed, and have a very, very low anger level. Most people would probably have either smashed it up or ripped into Sebo by now lol.

Nice video.

But that rumble at the end is inconclusive for me. Is it really as bad as before?

It's not as bad, but I felt it come back because the vibrations go right up the handle. When I first fixed it it was smooth and quiet, as it should be... But with the problem, it is much louder and there is defiantly much more vibrations... This is how it started before... A little bit then got worse...

Well, I turned it on again this evening and it was normal, but 10 seconds in and BOOM!!! Back to the old rumbling... I don't know what else to replace haha.
I was going to take it apart again but the Wife came home and she only ever moans and makes me want to jump off a bridge so I'll leave it until she's out again lol.
