At around £200, is the V6 still worth it in 2018?
-
Totally, use mine everyday. Got it about three months ago from Dysons eBay outlet refurbished. Came like brand new and was only £175

Total clean model may I add

I'm in New Zealand, so any kind of official Dyson refurb outlet is out of the question, sadly. The prices on the V6 went down for a bit, but they're coming back up after the V10 launch for some reason so I'm eyeing getting a base model V6 before it goes back up. https://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3064957

Had mine 1 year 3 months now, had to totally strip it and deep clean, good as the day i bought it.
£180 in the argos sale, worth every penny i reckon.
Shop i worked for until dec last year, used to send me out to do the wall fitting cradles. Last one i did (d59)?? didn't have the cradle included - customer had to return it and spend a bit more on a version that included it ?

We still sell quite a few of them at £199.
-
I still love my dc16 so I would say yes
-
There are deals around now for 199£ with the tool kit. I'm really tempted even though my boyfriend calls me crazy as we've got Dyson and Miele :whist11:
Or maybe I'm just crazy and it's not really worth it.
Prices of their cordless cleaners are really really high

So as far as I understand, V6 Absolute should be basically cleaning as good as V8 cause it has the same suction power and the same floor head together with sealed HEPA system?
-
They are a vast improvement on the DC16 but they really arent good enough to be the main cleaner for your house . We use ours when the floors carpets arent to dirty and use a mains machine for the hard work.
-
Had ours 2 years and 7 ish months now.
Still good but had a new battery just before the warranty expired - foc from dyson... ;-)
Tbh we have gone back to a dc24, i picked up realllly cheap with a knackered head motor. The dc24 is better for the house carpets with us living on a farm, the v6 now tends be used on light clean ups etc.

yes deffo! ive got the v6 absolute what i use every day in my 3 bedroom house. battery life is brilliant, suction is allways 100% and grooms carpets very well.

I have washed my filter for the first time, maybe in 2 months as it looked clean anyway.
I took the cage out, with difficulties. And what I've seen really shocked me. There was a lot of cat hair inside it :underchair: :underchair:
How the hell did they got in there?

I have a V8 at home but same here. We have a Sebo X4 for the proper work.
