Haha :)) Nice one! ;D
I saw that, was like "Why is the best part of the cleanerhead not easily seen because they decided to take the pic of the sunlight shining on it?"
would love to see lots of pics!

Yes, it came in that collection I bought. A very clean one with the right tools and the correct logo on the cleaner head. We only washed the hoses of the ones waiting up to now (the only time consuming bit). They get slipped in one by one in between paying work. There was a DC04 orange/silver Constant Max on the desk today in progress. The Marie Curie will no doubt be done in the next week or two.
It was never a machine I found especially attractive. But they are now few and far between, so the time to save one for posterity is now.

I love mine. It had a full refurb and luckily is in reasonable condition. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up the paperwork and new tools to make it complete. Shame it didn't come in original box :-/

What's the deal with this one then?

Very nice! I had one a few years ago, with all the paperwork. Was nice. Kept it for a while but sold it as normal during a skint month. Sold the paperwork to another collector with one.
Rusty - The Marie Curie was a promo run in the 2000/2001 years iirc, kids could colour something in and enter a competition. The pre-cursor to the CLIC DC07, which was another cancer charity. Deep in the 04 section is mine, with the paperwork as well

Nice! I *might* get a DC04 as well, no sure if I should make an offer and go for it, like what if when I get it, then a few days later a better vacuum pops up! Always happens https://www.gumtree.com/p/vacuum-cleaners/dyson-dc04/1163945095
