Has Anyone Got The Number Codes For The Schematic Drawings For The DC07

Is there anything you specifically need to know from them?

If you wanted something in particular, I'll happily give you a part number or more info.

The exploded drawings themselves and the associated descriptions and part numbers are Dyson's intellectual property, so we don't like to publish too much without their permission.

We can only get away with so much under fair use regulations.

We have a good relationship with Dyson, but we cant publish everything we have - if that makes sense? Its a fine line that isn't black and white in law.

But like I said, anything specific you want and I'll be glad to help out.

And as many seem to say the same, The Part Description is what they need From them numbers
And as many have said the same, THEY DONT NEED PARTS, They have dismantled the vac,
And need the info to Rebuild it
If we can take the vacs to bits, WE KNOW what parts need replacing  But these Drawings are Like getting a car with no wheels
But when we get the time We will Identify these numbers to the relevant parts
Then WE WILL help other Enthusiats

I don't see how descriptions help that. A workshop manual is what most use.

It is of many Opinions On This Subject That It is What People Are Requesting
& You Don't Understand, a Genuine Engineer Used These, Drawings And Reference Numbers,  :'( :'( :'(That Is Obvious Or It Would Not Have Been Compiled / Written
But There Seems To Be An Thing Here That You Just Want To Sell Parts & A Book, THAT WE HAVE,
And The book Does Not Cover Everything, There Are Parts On a Dyson Vac That It Does Not Even Mention
Its The same Old Story, Tell The Customer A Bit But NOT ALL
Nearly All Companies Do The Same Thing, Its No Big Secret

Have to be honest, the people at Manchester vacs are some of the most helpful I've ever come across in nearly 40 years in the appliance industry. They go out of their way for their customers. Mvacs didn't actually try to sell you parts, he offered to help you out. The Dyson manuals & parts lists are no different to most in the industry in that they're supposed to only be distributed to & used by Dyson dealers & are copyrighted, to publish them in their entirety would no doubt land Manchester vacs in court.
If your desperate for the information then you could always ask Dyson & see how far you get. Good luck with that, lots of us have tried & failed to get information from them.

Well, George just sent me an abusive email [edit - now two], so I guess he is quite worked up about something.

It takes all sorts I suppose.  :grinn:

A tad unnecessary from the OP there!!

How very odd, didn't see that coming - did you ever get to the bottom of what caused it  :))

Sorry guys didn't mean to inflame the situation, I'm just calling it as I see it. For a lot of us this Forum is a brilliant resource.

Yes. I had a hunch and cross checked his email against the shop database. He had a pending order that I promptly cancelled and refunded. I know trouble when I smell it. Let someone else have him.  :coffee:

No worries. Thanks for the blast of common sense. Please post more.  ;D
