Title: Dc50 question
Post by: AdamF on January 12, 2017, 02:41:57 pm
Hello all.

I have a Dc50 in at present with a gremin in the machine.

When it is reclined to 45 degrees all is well but at any other angle the brush head stops.

I have had the yoke off to inspect the wires and no splits or chafing , the pcb looks fine with no blackening ,
the brush head itself seems fine well as much as a well used dc50 head looks like.

Has anyone else had a similar gremlin lurking in their machine and had any luck in getting rid of it .

Kind regards Adam.

You need to meter it while wiggling it; a visual check is not enough.

Until you touch them
Reminds me of my dad lol, He was putting a new light switch in upstairs and he went into the garage turned off one breaker asked grandad if the upstairs lights were off, grandad hits the landing light (On the downstair ciurcit not upstair) and dad touched the light switch, pretended to get electrocuted and then touches the wires and actually gets electrocuted, Haha that was funny!  :biglaugh:
