My apologies if this is truly simple, or has been answered elsewhere. I have searched and not found any solutions....
I have a Dyson DC01. If I remove the filters, it works quite well, but with the filters in place, it barely sucks - well, maybe as much as an asthmatic worm. Removing the filters, and it works as one might expect.
I have stripped it a couple of times without finding anything awry - but that was a while ago, and now I cannot even find a manual to help guide stripping it - so if there is a source of that, it would be appreciated.
I have checked the three yellow buttons behind the dust box, and they move freely; all the rubber seals seem to be OK, and the only one that appears to have a gap is one of two rubber flaps on the bottom of the cleaner, which almost is sealed - but if I push it closed, it has no effect.
Is there a way to sort this out, or advice as to what may be wrong?

It might sound like a daft question, but these are new filters, right?

They were bought specifically to ensure I could ensure I was testing with the correct "kit", so the filters now are pretty much new, and the issue has been apparent with the filters from new.
The lack of suction is evident with the wand as well as the brushes.

Is it a Hepa DC01 model?
When I had my DC01 DeStijl minted up and in the collection I bought it a brand new post motor hepa and found exactly what you describe, it just killed all the suction as it impeded the airflow so much, even on a freshly fully refurbished one.
I just left it out in the end and ran it with no post filter because those sort of things don't bother me but I bet there were loads of annoyed people who splashed out £300 for the hepa model and got worse performance than the cheaper standard ones.
