As our floor space is limited, and as we have a Rotork Cyclon coming (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/DysonForum/index.php/topic,1814.msg9755.html#msg9755), we have decided to dispose of two of our project machines that we have.
I thought I would offer them here before putting them on eBay.
Hoover Constellation 867A. It has no floor tool and only the attachments that you see. It runs.

We can send them together or separately by courier anywhere. Or you can arrange your own collection. You can send me a PM or email me (https://shop.manchestervacs.co.uk/index.php?route=information/contact) if you are interested with an offer.

Tempted to offer you £20 but I'd be surprised if it goes for less than £50!

Crikey, we lost money at £16! :sick0012:
I guess Constellations were not as sought after as I thought - despite 39 watchers!
I guess I am out of the vintage job!
I turned down two very old (50's 60's) cylinder Electroluxes the other day @ £12 + VAT each. To me they looked like a steal, but I was unsure of values. And rightly so it seems......
You win some you lose some.

We all learn the lesson mate, the money has gone out of most vintage stuff. I used to repair / restore vintage radio equipment, there was never masses of money in it but you never lost money either.
Last few years though, it's died a death & most vintage radios fetch very little compared to say 5 years ago. Guess it's just another sign of our screwed up economy.

Vintage cleaners do have a market, but for bigish money it needs to either be restored and mint, or very very rare!
A Hoover Portable in 'as found' condition went for £115 the other day, Ive seen rose and white 1334s go for over £150. A nib turbopower u2332 went for £170 buy it now, then got smashed to bits in transit.
