Title: Windsor Sensor XP 12 - a Sebo Clone?
Post by: MVacs on January 06, 2016, 10:05:32 am
So here is something few of us will have seen before.......

I was on an American owned cruise ship recently and the cleaners were all using these Sebo clones. So I snaffled one to take a look. As you do.

This is the company that markets them in the US (http://www.windsorvacuums.com/index_files/windsor_sensor_xp_12_inch_upright_vacuums.html). They are on US Amazon for $545 (http://www.amazon.com/Windsor-Sensor-XP12-Commercial-Vacuum/dp/B00U5LTDWA/). The type plate says Englewood, Colorado. Not a surprise as these are 120v machines.

But the label also says "Made in Germany", which is where Sebos are made.

A little badge engineering perhaps? A Sebo side range for the cleaning industry?

There's alot of badge engineered SEBO machines out there, especially in the states. Windsor, Jeyes, Karcher

That's just an X1 Automatic in a pretty frock

Waking up a very old topic from 2016 here. Before we knew what a Windsor Sensor was.

A customer in the US asked us for some parts for his old Windsor Sensor vacuum this week. He sent over some photos so we were all on the same page. As stated above, these are essentially a Sebo X1 so we can supply pretty much anything that isn't a motor or PCB for these machines (as we don't keep 120v stuff). For example, if you need a Windsor Sensor hose in the US, look here: >>Buy a Windsor Sensor Vacuum Hose in the US<< (https://www.ebay.com/itm/321900288973).

These are not the most artistic of photos, and this is a machine that has had a hard life, but if you are searching for Windsor Sensor information, perhaps interesting.

If you happen to have an old Windsor Sensor vacuum in the UK, dead or alive, and if it's not expensive, we'll buy it for curiosity purposes. Get in touch >here< (https://seboshop.co.uk/contact).
