Hi all,
Replaced my Ametek with my YDK in the end,
But YDK sounds rather noisy,
Was seized up over 2 weeks ago though when It was out of the machien

Haha it kind of reminded me of a pub, although it is missing the usual pub carpet patterns.
P.S I love Pub Carpets.

Yeah, probaly the worst thing my parents did, red carpet, bloody vacuuming it every 5 mins literally

Dark blue 1 inch plush American carpet
White skirting boards
Blue Dyson?

Similar to my room then:
I have dark blue curtains,
Red blinds
blue and green lava lamp
light blue paint on walls, the wall with the door has striped blue white, red wallpaper,
white door and skirting
1/2 inch thick blue, cream, brown striped carpet (Stripes going oposite way to wallpaper
And Red, Purple, yellow DC04 (Everyone knows... Its a De Stijl)

I had a blue room when I was a kid, then changed to red, black, gray, white, very eighty's.

My room was all white. With wooden floor and mahogany furniture.
I had it the same from when I was around 9 until 18 when I moved out.

Back onto my subject for a moment please,
My DC04 YDK is quite noisy during spin down, I think its a bearing, since the motor siezed up one day when it was out of the machine a couple months ago.
Anyone know what I could do?

Yeah I have an Ametek I could stick in him, But the YDK runs fine for now, Might even rob my DC07's motor since the 07 is half dead :dead-dyson:

Could it possible be oiled anywhere?

Boy i thought the ametek had it, thought the bushes were almost dead, aparently not... 1inch and 1/2 easily.

well i did watch your dc04 and dc07 service video where you were on about lubricating that noisy Ametek

I got a lot of stick for doing that but it worked.
