Title: General Question About Sebo Vacuums
Post by: jesterpolyester on March 10, 2021, 02:52:21 AM
I'm aware lots of vacuums from Miele, Numatic etc have air release slides on the handle area of the hose, like for when you accidentally hoover a shoe lace, you can instantly open the air slide to undo the blocked pressure.

Question is, do Sebo's have this? So far I can't find an air release on the handle area of my K1's hose, but if there is a slide or switch that I've overlooked this would be great to know.

Cheers,

Niall.A.

Sebo cylinders feature electronic variable power control to adjust the suction level.
The purpose of the valve on the handle that you mention is to reduce the suction pressure when vacuuming delicate surfaces such as curtains.
Sebo would suggest you turn the power controller on the machine down, in order to achieve the same results.
