I am currently re furbing a DC04 and whilst stripping down the release valve for cleaning noticed that the "O" ring was in poor condition and badly cracked. Does anyone know where I can get one of these from or point me in the right direction, any help info would be very much appreciated.

You wait until you remove the airflow duct from the motor to the chassis, 98% of all of the o-rings in there fall apart on me I just glue the duct back on now...

I know the one you mean :icon_nod: I have had trouble with that "O" ring in the past.
-
Yep, glue is the way I go on those.

Next time I do one i will try some mastic/silicone sealer.

you need a very thin bead or there is so much excess to clean up :censored:
