Title: Why Dyson?
Post by: Flexin on July 11, 2012, 02:43:00 am
What made you chose a Dyson?  What did you have before you bought a Dyson?

I don't own one but wanted to try them out.  It just didn't make any sense because we have been removing carpet from our home.  We destroyed a few cheap vacs in the last 11 years in this house.  We have wanted to buy a new one but don't want another low end vac and find it hard to buy an expensive one sense we are trying to get rid of all our carpet and will at some point.

Right now we just borrow my in laws Miele which we do like.

Hi James. Welcome to the site.  :tiphat:

By removing carpets you mean you are going over to wooden or laminate floors?

Many Dysons are described as 'all floors' or 'multi floor', this means they are good to go on all floor surfaces.

It sure beats sweeping!  :))

Thanks

Yes I want to go to a hardwood or a bamboo floor.  We did put laminate down in Two rooms and a hall but I would like to go to something better.  But the first thing would be to redo the rooms with carpet.

I guess your right. I will have to keep that in mind about them being multi surface.
