My brush head stopped rotating so I ordered another one and it does not rotate either. I tried the new head in another Dc59 and it works fine. I measured the pins for voltage got nil volts when pulling the trigger. I suspect the circuit board has a fault and needs repair/replacement. Has anyone had this problem and/or had it repaired?

Did you measure voltage from the pins on the the unit or at the end of the extension?

I measured the voltage on the pins/contacts for the wand at the motor end. I also removed the wand attachment and measured the contacts inside.

remove canistar and check wiring continuity either end of that on the connectors. It is possible to check for voltage on the motor body deep where the canistar clicks in to it i believe.
In other words, fault could be open circuit cable on the canistar rim, also try cleaning the small connectors in question
