Our DC14 Animal Steel...
With the cloudy bin...
Cant even see the bloody cyclone...
its so F... that none of the dirt is visable, anyone have any suggestions so i can atleast see where the dirt is in my machine? Cheers

Trust me, hairspray works really well.
Just spray on the hairspray inside the clean bin, till it comes clear, then either use a hair dryer or just let it air dry. It always works!
Even with your white scratched bin, I'd had some really bad ones like yours
WD40 is good, but I find that the dust sticks :|

Hairspray gives your hair the wet look when it's actually dry, it makes your hair shine. It will do the same for the bin, it's applied wet (as a spray obviously) and dries and makes a nice shiny coat.

Hairspray ruined my dc26 bin. I always stick to the same method for mine:
1 wash in fairy liquid and boiling water.
2 clean he bin with astonish paste (from the pound shop) on a j cloth.
3 shine with back to black tyre shine on a microfibres
4 cover in baby oil and leave to dry.
This lasts for around 3-5 uses and makes it really shiny.

I won't even have a refurbed DC41 in the shop. Warranty nightmare. Cough near them and something snaps. :biglaugh:

I like my Sebo in some aspects but I don't find it too great :/
The hose- tips over, too short, no seals in the wand for the hose cuff, the hose pops out when stretched too far, looks slightly old fashioned but that's just me lol
Oh and the foot release pedal is more suitable for left handed people :/

I have some silicone lube I just put on a paper towel and rub on. Won't last long but is good for the sale...

Haha yeah, just completely sprayed my DC14 bin with hairspray and I was absolutely shocked that the clearness started to come back, thought to finish off i'd take it for a swim in the sink... By By clearness - next load of spray put on now...

I use a silicon spray lubricant and that seems to do the trick.
