When washing out the clear plastic bin from your Dysons, what do you use? What products if any, or what method? I have managed to make one go all cloudy with presumably lots of little scratches so that it is no longer see through! :grinn:

Silicon spray is a good temporary fix.
An automotive buffer and G3 paste is a longer term fix.

Greatn stuff, cheers! But what do you use to clean them in the first place? So that I can avoid making them go cloudy in the first place. In fact, how do people clean their dysons when they have them stripped down? The cleaning is the most time consuming bit as I'm currently doing them in my bath which isn't really ideal!

I use our shower, nice pressurised hot water. I use automotive detailing brushes and kitchen spray cleaner (an inch wide paint brush would do) and get scrubbing!
Then, once dry, a good ciffing (the cream) to get any paint and scuffs off, then a buff with aformentioned silicone heavy car polish to shine it up for sale!
The cloudyness is abrasion from the stuff it sucks up whizzing around the palstic. Short of either never using it or cleaning it after every use you wont ever be able to get rid of it, just mask it temporarily.

I usually put it in a sink, or bath if your sink is too small. With hot water and soap...
