What is the best way to wash a dyson hose? I have heard people say washing machines but im afraid our enourmous GE commercial top loader will tear it apart. :duh: any tips? Thanks.

Stuff it in, I've even used the dishwasher lol.

i used detergent sanitiser then cover both ends and shake it for ages with hot water ,,,,,,the big problem id drying them it takes days hung up in my garage you have to have them stretched out full aswell , is there a better way?
-
Yes, put them in a room with a Dehumidifier, or keep them hot to dry them.

I would just put them back on the vacuum (after shaking till there's hardly any drips out) and just extend the hose and switch the vacuum out, there shoudln't be much water going to the bin except just a stream along the bin, it's safe. Don't vacuum water with a Dyson though.

Ive used a hair dryer before on low heat.

Airing cupboard for 2 to 3 days dries them out
