Title: Dyson DC41 Urgent Help Broken Possible Fix
Post by: Jerry on December 28, 2012, 01:33:47 pm
Hi All,

I have a Dyson DC41 that was dropped onto a hard floor. The machine still works no problem. I have the spare part to hand which I believe is called the yoke assembly. For clarification I've taken a picture of it. The old yoke assembly on the DC41 was so badly damaged it practically fell into pieces after undoing all the necessary torx screws.

Now, here lies my problem. I have a lovely new yoke assembly to fit but am struggling to do so. Have I got to disassemble more of the Dyson DC41 to fit this new “complete” part back on? Are there any secret internal “Dyson employees only” repair manuals for this? A point in the right direct would be marvellous. Thanks again,

Jerry

There are, but they don't release them, allow them to be distributed, and guard their distribution very carefully.

I just looked at the one we have and it looks like a full strip down job indeed.
