Are belt lifters very strong and how long do they last?

practice - patience & persistence.
I never bothered for years with one, then used it and the T handle snapped on the weld.
Ended up using a 12" long screwdriver, cut the pozi end off, cleaned up then heated red hot and bent 15mm of the end to 40 degrees. Fits great under the belt with plenty of leverage.

Thank you so much MVacs, how can I write you privately in order to arrange shipping? I told my Hoover the good news and he's really happy :)

Yes, we'll make sure its serviceable first, see how much work Beko has to do to it, and if so I'll send you a PM when we've worked out the price, shipping, etc.

Also yes, it won't cost much extra to put any other bits in the same box to Italy. We use DPD to there.

Thanks! I'll probably go with the DC14 then!

Oooh the blue is the worse, fades and goes properly brittle. You'll need to decide wether to spent out and minter it up or just flog it cheaply!

A blue dc07 is not something to be taken lightly, when you pick it up from the cyclone handle and it snaps again...

Click on his name and send a message. I'll keep you updated although it'll be a week or so before I get to them (will bump them up the queue though a bit!

Do you need any other vacuum spares? I have many, not just for seniors, and can happily lob anything I have in the box whilst you've got one coming anyway, even if you find something from another UK collector I'm sure if it makes its way to Manchester it'll find you

DC07 is an All floors model in blue, pretty trashed but manchester vacs parts are cheaper than chips!

DC04 Green & Lime will fade like an utter bastard, just sell it! 40/50 if it's nice and clean on facebook, cash in your hand!
DC14 Origin - Keep! I much prefer them over the clutched, their just so much better at grooming deep down! Ideal daily! (or 50 on fb etc)
DC33 - Possibly keep, not really worth much more than a 14 in the real world, because no one cares that it's newer etc. At that stage where the ones left are in either good condition or utterly trashed, probably worth keeping it
DC07 - What colour scheme is it?
