Title: DC07 Floor Sucking Advice
Post by: quick978 on December 04, 2016, 10:34:28 pm
Hi guys,

I'm quite new to the game and needed some advice.
I've just serviced a DC07 and the suck from the pipe is very strong, but from the floor it is so weak, I have taken the bin off and checked where the bottom vent goes into the bin and it is strong, I have checked the hose underneath and it is intact with no splits, if I wasn't as bald as a coot I would be pulling my hair out!!!
Does anybody have a solution?

Did you check the side diverter valve pipe? Sometimes they do not fully engage when you recline the machine. Also would be a good idea to check the seals. Hope this helps.
