Title: DC19 Head Tool
Post by: The Doodster on June 24, 2015, 06:36:24 pm
Hi Gang,

Ok, the wife picked this up at a car boot today for £8.00.

All working but the head tool is broken where it stows on the body. Found one on fleebay but at £33 -  :o

Looking around for a replacement but at a sensible price or I'm going to have to break it as no margin after refurb costs :snivel:  :snivel:

If it is a DC19T2 this turbine head will fit (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/dyson-cylinder-turbine-head) or this contact head (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/DC23-DC38-DC39-Cinetic-Contact-Head-Floor-Tool). If a normal one, it wont.

Serial number checker here (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/serial-lookup) in case of need.

Thanks Mvacs, unfortunately it's a normal one so it wont fit. I'd already checked that one on your site and the serial (724). :reading:

I will need a couple of tools though, I think they are like the ones you sent me for the DC47 a couple of weeks ago ?

724 comes up as a T2. This one in fact:

Which looks right.

If it still has this wand on it......

...which your photo suggests it does.... those I linked will fit.

With what you save, you could afford to put a universal tool set (https://manchestervacs.co.uk/Dyson/dyson-universal-tool-set) with it and still be in front.  :money:

Bloody hell, we are good here.  :chuckle:

It still has the original wand, will the head you stated fit the wand correctly as the original or is it a friction/non lock type fit ?

Both lock into the wand and can be released with the button. Thus.

I created these solutions to solve exactly these problems. For sure the stuff isn't as aesthetically pleasing as original stuff. But that is reflected in the price.

We are good at this Dyson stuff y'know.  :biglaugh:
