Title: Miele TT2000 S716 pulsing motor
Post by: Steve_Gray on March 25, 2022, 12:36:43 pm
The motor on our Miele TT2000 S716 has started pulsing don't know if this is a motor or controller problem.

I am aware that the board suffers a common component failure.

I have tried to find a new/second hand board without much success can anyone help?

Ask Barlows on 0161 792 4118, they may have one. They do a lot of Miele.

First thing to check is the TOC on the motor itself. These often blow due to dust build up and consequent overheating, but the problem is usually visible on the board as the solder joint fails.
If that is OK, it'll be the control board-your best bet is a donor machine with another fault, either on eBay or a local source sum as FB Market or Gumtree.
