Title: Lime and Silver DC04 Pre Motor Filter Clogging
Post by: AliB on January 22, 2015, 09:40:14 am
Hello
My DC04 pre motor filter is clogged solid after one use, what could be causing this problem, it doesn't look like its missing any rubber seals or o rings
Thanks in advance
Al

Have you got the bin insert sitting in the bottom of the clear bin?

There should be a thin rubber o ring at the bottom of the inner cyclone, and a rubber cap at the top that the inner cone seals onto.

Is also a rubber gasket underneath the main housing where the clear bin meets the top, but if that was missing you would have no suction.

Or is it inserted upside down?
