Hi, problem with a sebo, It starts ok for a few seconds then the check bag comes on few secs more and it stops the motor. switch off at mains back on and it starts ok then bag light comes on again and stops motor again, new bag, filter and it still does the check bag routine again!!! Help??

I've got to ask the daft question first, are you sure its not blocked? Something stuck in the hose or wand maybe?
-
no all clear lol

Have you tried removing the brush roll, cleaning it, and giving it a light oil on the bearing blocks? If the brush is not running freely it might trigger the sensors that fire up the warning light and shut it down. Just a thought.

Will try this but brush spins ok, Ive tried without filter clean bag and the check bag light comes on intermittent still. sometimes cuts the motor out still but turn switch off till light goes out and it will start straight up again, im thinking a pcb fault somehow :'(

Need to see a photo of the PCB, some have a screw adjustment for the bag light sensor - later ones don't.
Or have a look at it, is there a place on the main PCB to put a small screwdriver?

To troubleshoot it, remove the filter and tape the metal latch that stops the bag door being fitted without it up out of the way. Remove the bag, rip off the plastic collar and fit that back into the machine so the bag door closes. Turn it on, does it still do it?
You've removed all possible 'obstructions' from the airflow path, so if it still happens it's either blocked still or faulty in some way.
You checked the cleanerhead, from the brushroll, through it's suction path, split the machine into it's 2 parts and checked all in there? A nice long length of flex to help rod it through will help, I've had an x4 in which did exactly what yours is doing and had a small childs toy wedged in the cleanerhead just past the blockage check flap!

Yes all clear first port of call. tried with without filter, bag, brush roll still stomped!! did I say the red light runs intermittently on use if it goes off and on it works ok only if it stays on does it cut the motor off!!

It's supposed to cut the motor off if it thinks its blocked.
That is the later PCB that only adjusts with a tool. However, for it to have suddenly started to do this suggests the PCB is faulty and wont adjust as long as you are sure the airflow isnt obstructed like Beko said by a kids toy or something daft. Fire ash or plaster dust blocking a microfibre bag does it too.
Do what Beko said and if you're certain there is no blockage you likely need a PCB. From your pic it looks like >>this one<< (https://seboshop.co.uk/sebo-spare-parts/sebo-x4-spares/sebo-nppstxsnm-3-main-pcb)
