Any advice, no suction whatsoever. Washed out filters and good clean out overall and still nothing. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks
-
No suction at the head or the wand?
-
No suction anywhere
-
Even did paper test into collection and it does not move
-
For three to be no suction at all always start at the simplest things... Make sure you check every pipe and every join for a blockage ;)
-
I think I have checked every pipe thats is obvious, unless i'm missing something crucial. I'm stumped !
-
Have you checked the pipe thing that comes off on the left hand side if you're looking on at it?
-
Yes I did, its a mystery and driving me insane
-
I'd take the bin off and wash the cyclone in the bath with very hot water and soap to get all the crap out, that might be blocked.
That's how I clean mine, just give it a day and night to dry and it'll be alright ;)
-
It looks quite clear but will give that a go and see, thanks
-
You have taken off the cleaner head and looked there where the tube goes into the machine?
Next would be to remove the small concertina side pipe as they block up there.
If no suction from the wand, there is a perspex wheel that operates a changeover valve that activates when you lift off the wand. Make sure it is operating and clean the moving bits of that mechanism and lubricate it with something like dashboard shine or Mr Sheen.
-
It all looks ok but will lubricate the wheel and see if this helps, thank you
-
Lets start with the basics: Run the machine, remove the cyclone, is there suction at the chassis hole?

I apologise, i am not at home now, can i do this tomorrow and get back to you. Sincere apologies

For sure, whenever you are ready. ;)

I'll just be a case of finding the blockage, there will be one, somewhere ;)
