Title: DC07 post motor filter
Post by: ringer on March 18, 2020, 10:41:40 PM
First, my earnest thanks to Beko 1987 for his series on strip & rebuilding Dysons.
There is a point I dont understand in the one about the DC07. In part:

The post motor filter cover pops off now

but the accompanying photo is not clear. Do you really just stick a screwdriver in &
force? I am afraid of breaking something. I suspect that you must use the right s/d,
in the right place, & twist the right way. Thank you for advice.

(I would have replied to that topic but the system asked me to start a new one).

Just use a small flat blade screwdriver, you need to just lever the barb at the front, and then one at each side. not much leverage is required
