Hi!
« on: August 01, 2013, 05:49:46 PM »
Hi All! Been reading these forums for a while now, but bought some bits today, so thought I'd sign up and say Hi!

I'm a collector, normally sticking to Turbopower Juniors and other select old models (not Dyson), but will strip and clean pretty much anything to give it a new lease of life! Currently have a DC07 animal given to me by my aunt, which has fallen foul of plaster dust. Plan to strip and refurbish it, and give it to my friend who is moving into his first house hopefully later this year.

Got another 07 Animal which needs a new motor. It's been sat in a componentised state in crates for over 3 years now, really must get round to putting it back together!

Had a DC14 too, but my girlfriends aunt has that now. My mum has a DC05 which I pulled out of a skip and restored for her. There's a nackered DC02 in the garage too which the 05 replaced, which will probably go to the tip when I get round to it!

Anyway, Hello!
Collector and restorer of vintage vacuums, Dyson Appreciator! Come and see my blog, where I am uploading all my mountains of brochures, manuals and other vacuum cleaner paperwork, and also my youtube channel @beko1987!
