Some people are clueless
« on: September 30, 2014, 12:21:41 AM »
Just had to query this one. They want 150 quid for buy it now. It's the early version of the animal so it's got the brittle plastic. Spine is also broken on it. I think they have just found it in a skip seen its a Dyson and assumed it's worth something.

Ha dreamers! I see it locally from time to time, dc07's/14's for 130-140, they never seem to sell!

I agree re the plastics too, every purple one I've had has either been faded or broken, same with the grey & teal/green ones, awful for brittleness!

Hehe, I would pay 15 max!
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

In 2010, we got a Malaysian, late model, durable type of DC07 All floors for the bargain price of 3! Just needed a clean cos it wasn't picking up well, LOL and it came with two tools, I think
And 15 and I got a 2007 DC07 Animal with all tools , the filter had plaster dust on it

Just seen this on gumtree. Some greedy sod just down the road from me breaking a green DC04. Scroll down and put a smile on your face.

Scroll down a bit further and there's a really, really tidy DC33! :underchair:
