dyson dc24 complete brush head price increase
« on: November 19, 2014, 08:03:39 PM »
hi all just a quick one, its been a little while since i have purchased a dc24 cleaner head brand new and after shopping around i looked at dysons website in there spares section and shock horror there 79.81 i swear that they used to be 55.00 or 56.00 direct from them.

can someone please tell me if i was correct in thinking that they were the lower price and if you have any proof that would be great, as if that is the case then i am going to have a rant with dyson as this is more than a 50% price increase!!!!

if i am wrong and maybe i am then please feel free to bombard with stupid messages and such

thank you all

The price of cleaner heads for DC24's and DC25's have been up and down like a yoyo in recent months. Recently, when all the UK suppliers ran out there was a draught for a few weeks. When they came back available again the prices had gone back up. Ours are currently 69.99 including Recorded Delivery. So we are still a tenner cheaper than Dyson even though they just had to go up a fiver.

The problem with genuine stuff is there are seldom big discounts offered to the trade. Dyson likes their profit margin. We had to buy eighty at a time recently to get a good deal.
