Hi all, ive a DC24 and the brush has stopped rotating after a sock !! Was pulled out whilst still switched on. Now the brush doesnt work but it still sucks

Have you pressed the red reset button on the side of the head?
The brush in the head is motor driven and will trip out if an object is caught in it.

Don't forget that the reset button only works in the tilt back position.
