Will a Dyson DC08 motor fit a DC41?
« on: March 01, 2015, 03:56:44 PM »
I really want a DC41, but the oho cheap one I have found is one with a burnt out motor. I am wondering if a dc08/05 motor will fit?  What other motors will fit from other models or other vacuums? Thanks
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Only the DC39 to motor appears to be common to the DC41. You just need to swap over the TOC.

Thermal overload cut out. See the info on the Man Vacs spares page for the DC41.

Going by the info on that page,  no they won't. I don't speak from any personal experience of a DC41.
