A scrap head...

Or find some silver insulation tape and tightly wrap it!

Silver duck tape.

I have had this problem a few times have always wondered if you could replace it with a bit from a scrap hose?

Thanks guys, I don't want to use duct tape as it's a re-sale machine so I always do these properly.

MVACS, thanks, if you have the part then \I'll have it...thanks

Quagmire seems happy that the DC08 hose has been replaced! XD
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.
