Where to Find the Serial Number on Your Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

If using the model recognition feature on some of our parts pages, or corresponding with us by email, you may need to find the first three digits of your serial number in order to correctly identify your machine.



On early upright machines, they are generally found on the back of the machine at the bottom, or on the bottom.





On later upright and ball machines, they are typically behind the bin.







On cylinder/canister machines, they are typically underneath or ocassionally on the main body behind the bin.





On handheld and cordless machines, they are typically behind the filter.
