Slightly worn DC14 baseplate
« on: June 04, 2015, 05:25:55 PM »
Hoovered (geddit... :underchair:) this up from ebay for 5 (motor is very dead, makes burning noises and smells when turned on...),  but I also noticed this...

Never seen one this worn before! Got some good 04/07 clutched baseplates somewhere, will grab one when I got into the loft to get my remaining good YDK out of a scrap DC04, but surely this would have been noticable way before it got to this stage? The brushroll is nearly worn right down as well!

Only worn on one side?

Is the head or foot plate out of alignment?

Never seen one like that either.
