I just received my first Dyson from a neighbor, who was throwing out a working DC41 Animal. She said the cleaner head wasn't powered...I looked and quickly saw a white wire running to it was broken. Some punter walking by also cut the power cord for some reason, so I need to replace that before testing.
- torn white power wire to cleaner head
- broken red cuff on internal hose assembly (using duct tape for now)
- chopped power cord
- this mysterious broken partI found this grey plastic part broken
down by the cleaner head power socket. The part number is 105776, but I can't locate it online.
Looking at the attached image (from Hedgy's yoke assembly tutorial https://manchestervacs.co.uk/DysonForum/index.php/topic,1050.0.html
), it looks to fill the hole above the power socket. What is it and do I need to replace it? If so, where can I get one? (I live in the US.)
