DC25 lol
« on: November 25, 2015, 08:06:29 PM »
Just got a DC25 FOR 10.51, Described as

 "does work but on/off button is stuck so just use plug mains to switch on. Front head brush not working and needs new cable"

Pressed reset and it works, I love it when they do that  :))

Hose is knackered though  ::)

cable is shocking  :o

Ooh I saw that on eBay and was watching the last minute countdown! I didn't know it was you LOL ;D Good job though!  8) :thumbsup: ;D :))

New cable no problem, as for the hose, cut the bad bits off and it's possible to screw/twist it back on to the black cuff thing, which is something the old Dyson uprights couldnt do sadly. They need glue

I was gonna get this, but thought sod it, the pics weren't enough for me :P saw it too late
You drove all the way to Walsall just to collect it?  ;D
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.
