Dyson small ball (DC50)

Woo yeh! Dyson decided (kind of) that old designs are better so decided to fit a DC24 wand to a DC50 lol  :chuckle:

DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

I actually like this (sort of) because the flexible wand was one of my main hates with the DC50. The DC24 wand is better but still hate that because if you try to take off the wand without the pole collapsing in the wand, it's impossible and the tiny hose for a big wand is a bit inconvenient IMHO. :offtopic: Loved it's bigger version (DC25) and I think it's one of Dyson's best uprights and probably their best ball (not sure if it's better than a DC15 though as not tried one) :offtopic:

With the DC50, I like the brushroll and cleaner head overall. No plastic struts in the soleplate so the carpet can get sucked up closer to the brushbar and the brush can give it a good beating ;D I like the stiffness of DC40 bristles though. I wish Dyson did one row of the nylon bristles and 1 row of the stiffer ones that would be good (like the American DC41)

Just noticed, Dyson DC50 spare parts on their site, there's a brushroll with no carbon fibre?! WTF
