Ive always liked the yellow and purple colours it was very cheap so I took a gamble.
Sadly when it turned up the handle was smashed to bits
The cardboard was soaking wet at the bottom and the wheels hanging out.
I removed the pre filter first which was soaking wet and has orange mould growing in it, switched it on it runs and the brush spins. I noticed how heavy the Dyson was and the cyclone was FULL !!!
So I want to do it up and make it nice to use. Give me a few weeks... Lol

Shame about the wand, but it shouldn't be too hard to find another one, if it was an 04 that would cost you!

I just tried to remove the brush bar housing and the lug snapped off the cleaner head assembly
The upright lock has snapped underneath but I have a spare. It's one of those projects lol

Oh God
Those cleaner heads are rare
The wand is common, get a green DC07 wand or another allergy/HEPA+ DC07 purple wand and swap the bits over for yellow ones

DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

I always avoid purple DC07's with a darker shade of purple which indicates it's been sun faded, the plasttic gets really brittle. I had a Dc04 Absolute with an extremely dark purple cos it was faded so much and it literally broke in a lot of purple parts. The wand broke when I carried it
I'm lucky to own a nice Dc07 Allergy with non faded purple
Except the cyclone which is faded and a replacement, need a new one but the handle is double and a replacement from another All floors silver and blue :)
