Amazing performance
« on: August 06, 2016, 09:58:57 PM »
I vacuumed my Auntie's 3 bedroom carpeted house (which has been vacuumed with a Henry daily since it was bought in 2012) and took my DC41 Mk2 over. I filled the vacuum past the max line!!! To the point the shroud was all caked and the motor was changing pitch ever so slightly. I know Straight suction vacuums can't clean well but I'm astonished.
This is also from a home with no pets  :o
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Vacuuming past the max line - Parwaz you naughty boy!!!

So I guess your Auntie will be looking at purchasing a Dyson now then haha!

Henry's are great, but only for smooth floors. However, I think the Henry Xtra has a rotating brush head (I have never used one though).

Haha I haven't emptied it yet and I just used it at home 😂
You are correct! My Auntie is looking at getting a Dyson to replace her Henry which will be mine probably when she upgrades ;D she used it and was really impressed with it especially the groom marks it made and even asked if she could borrow it! ;D

I like Henry's, good reliable and nice looking vacs but not practical for domestic carpets like any straight suction vacuum lol

That must have been a great day for you, I love vacuuming fully carpeted houses especially if the carpet is dirty and you can see the difference :)
