Hi from Oliver
« on: November 19, 2016, 07:38:16 PM »
Hi guys

I'm Oliver

I am a bit of a Dyson freak, and my favourite is the very rare Rotork Cyclon.

I visited Manchester Vacs with my dad and grandma and grandad a few weeks ago and really enjoyed my visit.

I would like to say thankyou to the lady called Claire who was very kind and helpful, and I thought their museum was fantastic.  Even my family enjoyed looking at the collection.  I would recommend anyone to visit their showroom.

I have a number of Dyson projects on the go at the moment and will talk about them later in the forum.

I think this forum is great by the way and am looking forward to being part of it.  ;)

Oliver

Hi Oliver, welcome!
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Welcome! The DC03 Clear and Hoover Junior are arguably the best machines in the museum!

Thanks Sam

Yes a DC03 clear is definitely on my list, but would love to get my hands on a Rotork Cyclon first :icon_nod:
