Numatics - Henrys - AS100Gs
« on: December 03, 2016, 03:27:14 PM »
Ironically I just got given my first numatic the other day which is a single speed 2013 Nuvac lol but mines a dry vac
Needs all the parts replacing accessories and hose/wand wise and the vac itself just needs a good refurb as its been used bagless ffs

Should fetch around £55 with the cheapo £13 toolkit on eBay
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

That's odd :o
I'm not sure but maybe people prefer the face or believe Henry's have power compared to cheaper alternatives? Not really sure but that's just my guess
But then again I never see many Nuvacs around either, to me they look old fashioned but I was told they were launched in around 2009

The AS100G machines are simply Henry copies. Most parts are interchangeable. They use the same bags, motors, tools, etc. The quality is the same from what I can see. There is no blistering technology in a Henry after all. They are about as simple as a vacuum can be.

I can see that, indeed, but I'm not sure the general public may have that sinked in, for example if you tell a customer "all DC14's are suitable for pet hair" But still want an animal one as they believe it may have a bit of an oomph in it lol

On the subject of numatic, I bagged this yesterday for £30 off eBay.

Can't really complain as it's not really been used, came boxed with nothing missing and even the receipt on the box from October 2016.
