Hello from Waco Texas!
« on: December 04, 2016, 09:26:46 AM »
I decided to join after being a visitor for a few weeks;
I am fairly new to vacuums and in particular Dysons, when I was a kid and living back in Australia I remember the DC04 Absolute my aunt had and thinking how cool it was, I even borrowed it ten years later when my hoover broke down.

I just recently got back into vacs after giving life support to the DC17 at work, I now own a DC07, DC15 and DC16. Hoover connie, spirit and celebrity. My current project is a Fantom Thunder which was in an appauling shape.

I hope to contribute and get on here.

Thank you, Will.

Welcome Will, interesting collection of machines you have there. We also have a Fantom here in the UK; a Fury. And an imported DC17.

I have read the posts, the Thunder is the model before the Fury, and much like the DC01.

It took long enough to get here! Summer ran far too late this year

Greetings from Birmingham, West Midlands UK! :tiphat:
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.
