Would you class a Kirby as a "great invention" though? A vacuum that weighs more than a tractor that comes with 365 useful attachments nobody ever uses? That loses 95% of its value the moment you open the box?

Well, Mr MVacs...

I don't count those aspects, I count the fact they all look awesome and to MY experience perform spectacularly :duh:

Each to their own however....

Kirby, the only way to throw your back out by vacuuming. Also probably the originators of the HARD sell.  >:(

I don't know why you lot don't like Kirby so much... If a sale man is at your door and you don't want it then just say no thanks. People who let themselves become forced into buying something are stupid.

Their sales tactics are awful,  some illegal. They have landed in court a few times in the us  :boggleeye:

That's not how they work, they only go to people who are interested in them and then they don't leave until you buy one, I worked for them for a week back in the 90s they are nothing but criminal

They also prey on elderly people and force thier way in, even blind people! And then the way the sales "independant distributors" get treated.
Its not that I dont like kirby, the machine is ok but the attachments are a bit naff.
But whoever picks thier colour and bag material should be given the sack  :underchair:
