Is this actually a dc25 ? picked it up in Canada as my dc25 has decided to not let the powerhead touch the floor they seem identical but here the 29 is a cannister

It isnt a DC25, the DC25 is an upright machine.
The DC29 is a foreign market version of the DC19. See

They called the DC25 in Canada the DC29 for some reason :/
Just like the DC40 over there is the DC42 and the DC41 is called the DC43 there, weird I know

DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Thanks that's what I thought oddly I have a Canadian DC25 as well other than the colour they seem identical

So they made two DC29s.
They did that with the DC33 and the DC33c as well.
