The Dyson DC18 Good Machine ?
« on: March 13, 2019, 12:24:33 pm »
Hi - Dyson Fans a relative has owned a Dyson DC18 for ten years and its still going strong, other than regular filter changes, post motor cleaned every six months and the HEPA post motor renewed a couple of times. this machine as performed very good. Its easy to use and not too heavy and so far no under-carriage problems. Have we just been lucky ?

i always found them a reliable machine.... until the diverter lever on side snaps at the peg

replaced 1 motor on one of these in 7 years.
The only way to fail is not to try.

Undercarriage problems on some.

Most. And unavailable new now.

We have LOTS of new brushrolls in case of need at a tenner delivered. Also new wands, chassis and maybe cyclones.
