I've got a dc14 cyclone but it has a bad smell and I've washed it many times and the smell doesn't go. Any idea how to solve it?

When you say washed, how do you mean? Did you just rinse it complete, or did you remove all the screws, take the shroud off, split the cyclone etc then wash the parts?
